Lindsey Graham, cruising to primary victory, tackles controversial issues...
Washington Examiner ^ | 4/29/14 | Rebecca Berg

....Graham, counter to the early prognostications of many, has quelled any potential threats from Tea Party insurgents and, two months ahead of the Republican primary, is cruising to a third term in the Senate -- still gleefully tackling those controversial topics that might have made him vulnerable in the first place.

Graham is in this position by no accident. Wary of other incumbents who have not prepared for competitive re-election campaigns and lost, Graham and his campaign team have spent the intervening years raising money and shoring up support among South Carolina's political class -- all but guaranteeing Graham's path to victory.

Run an independent Conservative candidate in the general election.

Okay.

...and at least one voter in Tennessee.

You do know the S. C. primary is June 10th and a possible run-off 3 weeks later? And that the voting hasn't taken place in nearly six years? And May isn't here yet? Of course you do.

I’ve never voted for Alexander or Corker so don’t blame me.

You really, truly want me to believe McCain’s butt boy won’t win big in June? SC has sent this turkey back to DC over and over regardless of his stupid BS.

One thing I do know, since we haven't had the primary yet, is that you don't know either. Unless you are in on a fix. Are you?

What's your problem with S.C.? Speeding ticket on I-26 or something else?

AZ stuck the US with McDemocrat until 2016. Between Brewer, McCrazy, and Kyle, AZ has screwed the rest of us too many times. All these Liberal morons got to go.

I’ll keep repeating it (Please SC, dump this turd) till the SC voters dump him. The problem is the SC voters.

I hadn't thought of it that way. You're right!

We need to swap all our voters with Florida voters!

Make it so.

” the Examiner is not a leftist outlet.”

Like hell. Anyone, including leftists, can write for the examiner. Writers get paid by how many hits the articles get. Write a controversial article = more hits = more money.

The entire article is wishful thinking based on endorsements from RINOs. No proof is offered “guaranteeing Graham’s path to victory.”

The lying turd also wrote this: “Graham’s comfortable lead in this election...” Utter BS. This article is a fairy tale, probably written by Graham’s staff. Graham has never polled above 42% approval in any poll.

You should apologize for inflicting this propaganda garbage on FR.

Hey Resetto - what was that about fiction from Florida? Amazing how I called it huh? You want to give me some credit? I despise Lindsey as much as anyone but from what I have HEARD he is a popular LOCAL politician who managed to win the nomination.

Glad I could help you out with that. You apology is accepted.

You got it right all the way from FLorida, corko, and I was wrong in thinking we’d get much more than 20% turnout here.

Poll worker at 3:30 PM day of primary said some voters did not know until the morning of the 10th that there was a primary. All of LG’s supporters did.

Its so frustrating. I really had zero insight as to what counts in an election campaign until my daughter volunteered to help 3rd District (Anderson) I will find the guy's name.

She loathes Lindsey as much as we do. She attended a town hall in Central near Clemson, in 2011-12, she was struck with how he knew EVERYONE. Her description of how LG can look into the audience and nail everyone's name was fascinating. He takes questions - for all those who came to the microphone he knew either their siblings or cousin, etc.

I can't remember names to save my life. I have a feeling that is what is meant by 'All Politics is Local'. It goes to why we are confused as to WHY LG is returned to office. I have a feeling it is all about getting out there. Cantor did the opposite.

BTW - I love S. Carolina and glad #1 Daughter is working in botanical gardens in Lake City.
