Imagine a US House of Representatives free of John Boehner.
Why imagine it? He has a challenger. People need only get over their fear and vote for that challenger.
A good reason why Boehner went ahead with the Benghazi select committee.
Timing is interesting.
There is a problem in OH. The early and mail-in voting, even with some reforms, is out of control. It's probable that there are people who've already voted for Boehner, and they might have changed their minds but it's too late to change their vote.

As soon as the committee and Gowdy were announced I thought, geez Boehners internal poll numbers must be setting off some alarms.

He lost to Boehner, 74 to 16 percent, in May 2014. Hopefully, he does much much much better this time around.
