Senator Cochran’s wife is in a long term care facility in Mississippi. She has been there since 2000 and has had dementia all these years.

I said last year that Cochran wanted to retire....he had almost nothing in his campaign account..but decided to run only because McConnell asked him to...Mitch is worried about getting enough votes for majority leader, and you;ll remember that when McDaniel announced..he said that he wouldn't vote for McConnell for leader...IF the GOP picks up enough seats...and a lot will be TP types..if someone like Mike Lee decides to run..it will be close.
2. Sad about Cochran's wife, and I do not begrudge him having a relationship..( do you know if t he lady is married?) but again...if she's on the payroll.,.that's a BIG no-no
