I hope that they have to pay the families of the deceased victims also.
Only $2 million for someone of high school age, quadrapalegic for life, thats peanuts.
Maybe the settlement(s) was predicated on the family not declaring bankruptcy to insure payments versus nothing in a bankruptcy.
The articles said that the insurance company is paying the two million. Unless the articles is wrong (and when has the media ever been wrong?), they will pay nothing of the two million.
Indeed! With today’s long term care costs that will be gone in no time.
Then zippyCare will kick in and kill him...
The taxpayers of Texas will end up paying for the medical care.
I agree.
That’s chickensh-t money for this. The rest of his life will be a long time to be paralyzed. Meanwhile, little Lord Fauntleroy will be laughing and playing and dancing.
Kills 4 people and gets off over some ridiculous made up word. Unbelievable.
I believe the story is false and misleading. Other sources say that it is the insurance companies, not the low life parents, who will pay.
