Then you’re not paying attention to what he’s been saying and doing. If this latest gaffe was was an isolated incident and out of character with many other remarks and speeches, then yeah. Give the man a pass.
But - sad to say - This is very much in line with the many other leftist things he’s said and done since taking the job of Pope.
Many people from South America have bought into the socialism model. Most certainly encouraged by the corrupt leaders.
