So, 2815 would be BHO?
Learn something new every day, all this time I thought

No wonder the West is being colonized.

“”The number “88” was intended to show how many loads of laundry buyers would be able to do with one package.

Haessig said the company has stopped shipping the offending powder, as well as a liquid detergent that was being promoted as “Ariel 18.” The number also represented the number of loads that could be done, the company said.””

The marketing manager for this product is likely a late 20 something that is clueless on these issues.

P&G used to have the best talent in the field in this area. Who needs high paid old farts around that were schooled in proper international protocol when we are in such a connected society and are all technical and stuff? /s

This is crazy. How can one keep track of all the forbidden words and signs? I recall a protest in Boston because a bar had a monkey on display. A number of yeears ago somebody in the media was fired by mentioning certain common foods. Certain numbers are forbidden. The most innocent comments on twitter have cost people their careers. And let’s not forget what we way in the privacy of our home in the heat of the moment can be cause for us getting fired..

“HH” is the German license plate code for Hamburg. I wonder how they rationalize that.

“88” represents the phrase “Heil Hitler.”

We were always trained, that the 88 referred to the fact, that there are 88 words in their creed.

I’m guessing there aren’t a lot of pianists left in Germany.

Playing piano is sometimes called “tickling the 88s” because there are 88 keys on a piano. But I have heard about 88 = “Heil Hitler” before.
