A Conservative candidate who cannot win is worse than useless. Such a candidate will enable the election of a RINO at the primary level, or an even worse outcome, a liberal Democrat in a general election.
Conservatism advances only when Conservatives win elections. The dilemma that presents when the Conservative candidate that you prefer cannot win must be resolved in favor of the lesser choice who can prevail against the left. Remember, only about 30% of voters are solid Conservatives. Elections are won by persuading 21% of the rest to vote your way.

I don’t agree. Sometimes, when a RINO (especially those who attack conservatives)has been in office too long, it is better that the Dem win. Those RINOs are just as evil in the end.
So any old POS ruling class political drag queen will do so long as it has the Republican label? Policy does not matter so long as the party looks "respectable" to Trust Fund Muffie and the Junior League windtunnels and the girls down at Planned Barrenhood's abortion mill and the folks that just fell in love with Mapplethorpe's photo collection as well as the various gun grabber groupies.
When we nominate a John McLame, a Mittens, or anyone from their social set, we just thrill National Public Radio, the Chamber of Commerce (yawn!), and the boys with the green eye shades and sleeve garters clipping coupons in the back room at the bank down on Main Street.

When some unprincipled RINO POS is defeated in a primary OR in a general election, we are only one election from replacing that POS with an actual American, a policy movement conservative, i.e someone WORTH electing!
If you want conservatives to vote for GOP candidates, make sure that those candidates are rick solid on: guns, babies, marriage, government reduction, tax cuts, military, aggressive foreign policy (when our finances have recovered from Obozo), rebuilding the military, etc. If not, ohhhhh welllll!
