Idiot is as idiot does, right?

I worry that this sort disease can spread to other animals like the Hunta (?) virus has become common among ground squirrels in some parts of the country even though it was once thought to be only in mice. It goes from the urinary tract of a camel to humans, can it go from humans to other mammals, that sort of concern.
