You too, huh.

I’m getting the road grader out to clear the drive down to the main road.

Still snowing.

Yes, but smoking one joint is equivalent to running a 100W incandescent light bulb for 17 hours, at least according to the “settled science’ in the article.

Yeah....and a 1.2 degree drop in global temperature results in a estimated 21% drop in grain production.

If we are headed into a cold era, it's going to take every bit of GMO skill we can muster for people to survive.

"Between 2010 and 2099, climate change will cause an additional 22,000 murders, 180,000 cases of rape, 1.2 million aggravated assaults, 2.3 million simple assaults, 260,000 robberies, 1.3 million burglaries, 2.2 million cases of larceny, and 580,000 cases of vehicle theft in the United States.”

Not if my guns and I have anything to say about it.

~~~~~~~~~~
Wait... ...so that's why the liberals are pushing for gun control...
CO2 reduction is resulting in global cooling. The “warming” trend of the alarmists was the earth’s system balancing itself. They and their idiot minions are forcing the globe into a new ice age. Thanks dimmis.
There's a lot of lunacy coming from the climate alamists. That doesn't mean that we need to do it too:
That Cannabis cigarette carries two pounds of CO2 emissions
Assuming that the entire joint is carbon, and all of it converts to CO2, a 1 gram joint will release 3.7 grams of carbon dioxide.
That's 0.008 pounds of CO2. Two pounds of CO2 is 250 times more than reality. The author must be smoking his topic.
No, he's including the carbon generated by the electrical power requirements to grow the plant to make the joint.
The word “contains” is being used in a peculiar way to denote the total amount of something (in this case CO2) involved in the production (in this case by release into the atmosphere). This strange use of “contains” as applied to “emissions” (that’s already an odd usage) can be found in critiques of “green” projects by other “greens”, for instance use of ethanol as a motor fuel, or use of solar panels — in each case considering the emissions in the production process along with those from the use of the technology.
... and then began examining the relationship between Earth’s weather and climate and solar activity.
Well it's about time SOMEBODY started investigating the effects of solar activity on weather systems here on Earth. I mean, really, we're in the Sun's backyard here .... If solar emissions affect our electronic devices, then we might expect they may have other effects as well.
This is terrible!
If it keeps up the Carbon Offset Market will crash and then how will I be able to sell all the carbon offsets I own in the Al Gore Carbon Bank?
Obama is right on this....with a new Executive Order.....
"This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow,and our planet began to heal.
Welcome King Barack "Canute" Obama the Great.....
...Obama issues an Executive Order to the Sun...
....to increase it's magnetic field....
and make a good crop of sunspots before elections in 2016....
(PhysOrg.com) -- Sunspot formation is triggered by a magnetic field, which scientists say is steadily declining. They predict that by 2016 there may be no remaining sunspots, and the sun may stay spotless for several decades.
The last time the sunspots disappeared altogether was in the 17th and 18th century, and coincided with a lengthy cool period on the planet known as the Little Ice Age....and lasted 400 years.
Good luck surviving with less electricity and GE modified seeds.
