The money quote:

“’[I]ndoor Cannabis production uses 1% of the nation’s entire electricity consumption,’ reports Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory researcher Evan Mills in the Huffington Post. ‘This comes to energy expenditures of $5 billion per year.’ While 1% may not seem like a lot, the report claims that smoking one single Cannabis joint is equivalent to running a 100-watt light bulb for 17 hours. That Cannabis cigarette carries two pounds of CO2 emissions.”

Don’t we have one of those cartoons showing the man carrying a sign saying, “The End of the World is Near.” to post with these AGW threads?

“Settled Science Breaking Into a Cold Sweat”

They need not worry.

Progressive causes will be with us for generations as a goose-stepping electorate keeps pulling the lever for them.

Science is not consensus.

Nor is it ever settled.

Here in Denver, on the 12th of May, we’re shoveling A FOOT OF “GLOBAL WARMING” from our walks and driveways.

As I recall, the Nazis all debunked Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity as “Jew Science”. That was also “settled science” and “consensus” in Hitler’s Germany.

That is indeed how it is misspelled at the link.

The alarmists should get a good chuckle over that!

“Oh, don’t worry,” he said. “It’s gonna be a lot warmer than people think.”

Piers Corbyn thinks otherwise.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6R26PXRrgds

In his talk, Piers Corbyn described the failure of standard meteorology (SM) in outlook, theory, and practice. He included: signals in real meteorology data unexplained by SM; real role of jet stream, stratosphere, electro-jets, magnetosphere, solar wind, solar corona, and the Moon; the total inability of SM to explain: sudden stratospheric warmings and its consequences, tropical storm intensifications, angular momentum concentration in tornadoes; and the need for something else such as electromagnetic plasma explanations; the theoretical basis of non-standard long range weather forecasting on a real planet; a summary on his WeatherAction forecasting skill and examples; and the future of forecasting and meteorology, climate ‘science’ and science in general.

Piers Corbyn began recording weather and climate patterns at the age of five, constructing his own observation equipment. He obtained a first-class honors degree in physics at Imperial College London. In 1969, he became the first president of the Imperial College Students’ Union to be directly elected by the student body. He later studied astrophysics in 1979 at Queen Mary College, London, and then began examining the relationship between Earth’s weather and climate and solar activity. Following many years of weather prediction as an occupation, Piers formed WeatherAction in 1995, where he sells web-accessible long-range monthly forecasts for Britain and Ireland, Europe, and the USA plus special forecasts of ‘Red Weather periods’ and related increases in thunder/tornado and earthquake risk.

Nature Climate Change recently published a paper that contends that temperate zones will see reduced crop yields by 2030, presumably plunging the world into a man-caused famine not seen since the last time communists were in charge.

This is as far as I got before having to post. I will finish the article following this. But I had to roll my eyes. The most "reduced crop yields" risk we face has far more to do with government regulations, restrictions and incentives than weather. Further proof of the farce that is Man Mad Global Warming.

No I'll read the rest of the article.

"This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow, and our planet began to heal.

Welcome King Barack "Canute" Obama the Great.....

...Obama issues an Executive Order to the Sun...

....to increase it's magnetic field....

and make a good crop of sunspots before elections in 2016....

(PhysOrg.com) -- Sunspot formation is triggered by a magnetic field, which scientists say is steadily declining. They predict that by 2016 there may be no remaining sunspots, and the sun may stay spotless for several decades.

The last time the sunspots disappeared altogether was in the 17th and 18th century, and coincided with a lengthy cool period on the planet known as the Little Ice Age....and lasted 400 years.

Good luck surviving with less electricity and GE modified seeds.

"Between 2010 and 2099, climate change will cause an additional 22,000 murders, 180,000 cases of rape, 1.2 million aggravated assaults, 2.3 million simple assaults, 260,000 robberies, 1.3 million burglaries, 2.2 million cases of larceny, and 580,000 cases of vehicle theft in the United States.”

Not if my guns and I have anything to say about it.

Wait... ...so that's why the liberals are pushing for gun control...

There's a lot of lunacy coming from the climate alamists. That doesn't mean that we need to do it too:

That Cannabis cigarette carries two pounds of CO2 emissions

Assuming that the entire joint is carbon, and all of it converts to CO2, a 1 gram joint will release 3.7 grams of carbon dioxide.

That's 0.008 pounds of CO2. Two pounds of CO2 is 250 times more than reality. The author must be smoking his topic.

If it keeps up the Carbon Offset Market will crash and then how will I be able to sell all the carbon offsets I own in the Al Gore Carbon Bank?
