I've always kind of liked Foghorn Leghorn, myself. A solid, family-values barnyard rooster. Words of pure wisdom and insight when, in a confidential aside, he observed of Prissy the Hen's bookish son who didn't know a catcher's mitt from a bat: "There's somethin' kinda yeiiiiiiiigh about a boy who don't play baseball."
