Have there been any studies that show anything good coming from facebook?

Sure! Lots of people have gained lots of experience in using Photoshop to tweak their own pictures. I know quite a few relatives who are fat and ugly, but you wouldn't know it from their Facebook postings. Sort of like having an avatar when playing a role-playing wizardry adventure. Nothing is real!

It is like a lot of things: it depends of what you do with it. I am interested in history, archaeology, certain styles of music, political thought, things that are going on in my area. I follow pages that have to do with those things and often get useful information.
