You may be experiencing something the sociologists/behavioral scientists call the `halo effect’:
`This lefty went to Columbia, so did I.’
So he can’t be all bad, hmmm?

But you can’t bring this striped polecat in here, reeking and spraying—possibly rabid—and say:
“Wanna pet my cat?” and expect us to reply,
“Sure, why not?”

If you do, you *really* have been away.
We know what he has to say. He’s a .... moonbat.

We’ll get your mind right, Luke! Yas sir, we will.

Those lefties sure don’t stray far from the mother ship when it comes to staying on the mandatory message. “Unhinged” is the word of the week (weak) straight out of the White House spin machine. It makes one wonder if they know the function of hinges.

It sounds as though Little Dick is the one who is becoming “unhinged”. Must be worried about November.

The President is a moron. A clever deceitful moron but a moron none the less.......

Not really. You underestimate both his ability and his malevolence. Taken together, that could add up to a really big mistake if all of us make it together.

And a further point: He isn't doing this by himself. In the best Bolshevik/Alinskyite tradition, he has a brain trust, a politburo, behind him, and they do all the heavy lifting -- like writing the Obamacare bill, which appeared, all 2000 pages of it, like Athena springing from the forehead of Zeus, practically overnight, when the right political moment finally arrived.

Most of Obamacare, I'll warrant, had been written years ago by Stalinist orcs whose eyes glow in the dark as they peck away at their keyboards to forge chains for their fellow-citizens.

“No one can possibly think the Obama administration knew the attack was coming and let it happen.”

I can.

A few days before Benghazi, the Tripoli embassy site was hit at the gate by a driver. Stevens barely escaped there.

We heard for a couple of weeks about an exchange for the Blind Sheikh. How would that have taken place?

We know there are a number of terrorist camps in Eastern Libya. It’s famous for them. And, we fought alongside AQ in the overthrow of Qaddafi.

US Spec Ops groups were in the Caribbean somewhere the night of the attack. What they were doing there, I don’t know. Sounded like a planned training to me.

In sum, for some reason, although Canada and the Red Cross left Libya the week before, we remained. Stephens even went to a secondary location, guarded by locals.

The evidence is asymmetrical, but it’s there. Someone knew enough to broadcast an “I’m sorry” message from Cairo that morning. That is an odd bit of political tripe if there ever was one.

Yes. They were in Sig, waiting on tarmacs, and watching/listening to it all.

Once the May Day went out, EVERYONE watched/listened in real time. The WH and SOS/SECDEF have multiple people whose jobs require that notification of real time events is communicated as it happens.

Anyone who says otherwise is flat out lying.

The Big Scam is starting to fall apart.

From your keyboard to God's ears. Jack Daniels and I will weep tears of joy all through Barack Obama's impeachment trial, trial for high treason, and trial for multiple counts of election fraud, larceny, oppression under color of authority, abuse of power, and fraudulent pretense to an office he was never qualified to seek.

Obama's ties to the MB crowd need no limning by me -- they're well-documented now, going back at least to the first "flotilla" incident, when it turned out that Medea Benjamin (Code Pink), William Ayers, and Bernardine Dohrn (both Obama "kitchen cabinet/politburo" members) were all in Cairo talking to the MB at the same time, and ostensibly carrying Obama's back-channel water for him.

President Morsi and the rest of the MB wanted their hero, the Blind Sheikh, released so he could come home in triumph to Cairo (and they could hoist "Mission Accomplished" banners over his head and rape a few CBS newswomen in celebration).

Yeah, sounds like a deal could have been had ..... if they'd had Ambassador Stevens to trade for the Sheikh.

Your evidence, while highly credible, is still circumstantial. The evidence that BO’s administration told the military to stand down is verified by multiple witnesses. In either case— and I think both cases to be a highly likely scenario— BO and the state department were complicit in the incident and the cover-up. It was a far bigger deal than Watergate.

Actually, I very rarely think anybody is "all bad." If that's the reaction to certain people that I should be striving for, then I guess my parents failed me in that regard.

Other than that....

...WaPo counts as mainstream media in this country. The Week does not. That is the difference.

I was just telling someone the other day that I believe the rise of conservative media has caused the untended consequence of pushing mainstream media all the way to the left. Before they reported bad things about their heroes, then made excuses. Now they don’t even report it.

Sadly, 100% accurate. Just ask liberal but honest former CBS correspondent Sharyl Attkisson. My lefty friends never heard of her either. There was a time when every journalist alive would have thought that the circumstances of her departure were big news. Even if they disagreed with her completely. Today, its quite clear that they would rather turn a blind eye to her professional integrity than risk criticism of the current administration.

Even four years ago, I figured this was all a house of cards. Now, apart from the fact that Clintons do still have a lot of enemies on the left side of the aisle, I'm not so sure.

The real fault lies with Mitt Romney because ...

Do ya think the GOP powers that be have learned their lesson about backing a man whose chosen religion is an anathema to a Nation of Christian voters?

How can the democrats justify sitting and knowing that our men were being brutalized and do nothing except make up an excuse that it was some film on the internet?

Huh?

One million future Americans get CHOICED to death before birth yearly; and you expect them to care about a few adults???

If all the brilliant, intellectual, cosmically superior Progressive geniuses were ever to dedicate their brains to the advancement of the human race through inovation and invention, they wouldn’t have enough time to think of themselves as highly educated and brilliant.

They also wouldn’t have the time to characterize
non-Progressives as gun-loving, bible-thumping,
knuckle-dragging, Christian morons.

IMHO

I give you dispensation to insert the paragraphs wherever you want.

Why thank you for the incredible opportunity to edit your deathless prose, youngster!

However, traditionally, the transmitter is responsible for the receipt of the message. In case you are to shortly shuck the groves of academe for employment in some part of the private sector, allow me to suggest that you consider Infomapping, the ISO written communication standard.

The Indictment presented by Carry_Okie:

What's to understand?

Al Quaida is a named enemy of the United States in the statutes authorizing the WOT in 2001.

Al Quaida is one of the enemies of the Assad regime in Syria.

Chris Stevens was recovering Ghadaffi's weapons in Libya, thence to supply "rebels" in Syria via Turkey, rebels that include Al Quaida.

Therefore the administration was providing aid to an enemy per the Constitutional standards for capital treason.

Whether to off the guy who knew, or if the whole thing blew up in their faces, either way they needed a cover story. Hence the video.

Hence all the leftist smoke defending the President against an investigation of Benghazi as a GOP political stunt.

The Defendant responds:

Further this deponent sayeth not.
