Jeb is not a weasel. He was more a good leader than politician when he was The Governor of Florida. I don’t know why he would make that kind of statement, (if he made it.) As a resident of Florida, I’ve only known him to be truthful, moral, fiscally conservative, and good manager of the affairs of this state.

He wasn't endorsing Johnson's policies. He read a biography that touched on Johnson's energy and drive and says he'd be like that, too.
I don't think Bush would be that way and I'm not sure it would be a good thing if he were, but whoever wrote the headline distorted what he actually said.
