What is the point in paying the fine if the only reward for doing so is banishment?

Caught this little bit of Mark Levin’s show on Tuesday night. Interesting listen if you have 10 min you can spare.

Cheers!

Not defending what Sterling said, but I do think the commissioner instituted a huge rush to judgement.

This story hit the internet early on a Saturday morning. By the next Tuesday afternoon, the commissioner had handed down what amounts to a “death penalty” against Sterling.

This story is not over by a long shot. Sterling’s estranged wife actually is a part owner of the team, and wants to keep her piece. Some players have said that nobody in the Sterling family should own this team.

Forcing a sale of the team could be a legal quagmire for the NBA.

And some players have said they won’t play next season if the sale of the Clippers hasn’t happened by then.

Get popcorn. This could get really interesting.

I was shocked by Sterling’s comments, but, feel that the penalty is excessive. I hope Sterling exercises all his legal rights, whatever they are. The NBA is acting all holier than thou about this crap, and may find that they opened up a Pandora’s box instead.

He said it in private. It didn’t affect the way he handles the team. Good for him. I am so tired of the thought police.

It was expected and predicted here that Sterling did not become a billionaire by going down without a fight. Now that he's lawyered up he will be a handful for the NBA.

Within a few hours after the NBA commissioner announced the fine there were pundits explaining that the NBA had no authority to impose the fine.

Say what you will about Donald Sterling but the guy didn’t build a fortune worth 1.2 billion $ because he was stupid.

One other thing. Screw Lebron James’s homely looking ass. Let him choose not to play in the NBA next year. He can always co-star in Mikey Sams reality TV show on the Oprah network.

The NBA will just withold it from his TV payouts. Sterling is finding out that the NBA is a lot like the federal government...

There are a group of people that want that team, BADLY....

I believe this was all pre-planned, and likely illegal.

Wiretapping is against California Law, I understand.

SO WHY IS NO ONE IN JAIL, YET?

The real important thing about this story is: It’s not a real important story...not worthy of more than ten minutes of fame.

Sports means nothing!

It’s just another “Malaysian Airliner” decoy story used by the RATagandists to deflect attention from the myriad of RAT-scandals and ongoing investigations.

Sterling has virtually limitless resources, some of which he might allocate to investigations of other peoples’ private lives.

So Democrat Donald Sterling (D-California) doesn't want to pay a fine....nothing more fun than a Left-on-Left Civil War

He shouldn’t have to pay a dime..what someone says in the privacy of their own home, taped ILLEGALLY without their consent..cannot be used against him and it sure as hell can’t be used to take away a team that he purchased legally with his own money. If Sterling had given a press conference and said those quotes, different story, and even then he would have a right to keep his team..but he said this to his mistress, if they can do this to him they can do this to anyone who says anything the left or the media considers “Racist” or “Homophobic” or “Islamaphobic” any phobic to them and a person’s life can be destroyed

They thought this whole Sterling stuff was settled. There was a majority judgement, just like with Global Warming and Common Core.

I’m an old lady and Sterling is a yucky old man as far as I’m concerned, but he is right to fight this action by the NBA.

I find the entire situation frightening.
