Because Ukraine isn't distracting enough people away from Benghazi and the IRS stuff. King Barry is desperate for something that will both attract a lot of attention and look like a "big win" for him showing everyone how tough he can be.
Ukraine hasn't made him look like the tough guy he wants to be and will probably even end up making him look bad before long. So on, and so on, with the other stuff the media have tried to get traction with.
