Plus 1. I think that is how dispirited many of us feel with these corruptly elected officials.

This is a State issue. The federal judge should not have any authority in it.

Why do we even need a US Congress, State and local governments anymore? All we need are judges to rule over us!

To further your assessment. Why vote on ANYTHING. Our Judge overlords make the final decisions.

This is ridiculous. The Michigan Secretary of State laid out all the reasons why Conyers wasn’t eligible. What was the reason why the judge overruled that?

How about me? Can't I be on the ballot?

I've been busy working and haven't had time to collect signatures, and it's SO HARD to do it right. And even though I don't live in Michigan anymore, I was born there, and furthermore I am a loyal Detroit Tigers and Red Wings fan.

Why not me? Why not now? How about it, Yurhonor?

A write-in election for Conyers would have required his supporters to know how to write and correctly spell his name, although correct spelling meant nothing 3 years ago in Alaska. Much easier in Detroit to just flip the lever for the “D” and continue flipping the same lever as many times as you can.

“So if he loses the election will that be overturned as well?”

Computerized voting machines have already taken care of that problem.

When conservatives control the GOP, and there is a Republican congress and POTUS, the chairmen of the House and Senate judiciary committees need to take a wire brush to the federal judiciary and scrub away hundreds of these worthless, good for nothing federal judges.

They may still get a paycheck for life, but they will never again sit on a federal bench.

Computerized voting machines have already taken care of that problem.

And it would have been very inconvenient for someone to try to explain just how he won the election when his name wasn't even on the ballot.

The FIX is in for the oldest Communist in Congress.

Detroit - Michigan. Once the Communist Party’s stronghold in labor other than Chicago (where one of David Axelrod’s mentors (David S. Canter) was a key CPUSA operative and a parallel Soviet asset as well as labor leader, as was his CPUSA founding father, Henry Canter).

COnyers father was a top leader of the Socialist/Communist-led United Autoworkers Union including Local 600. Later he went with the socialist Reuther brothers (former CPUSA members, at least Walter was) when they ousted the CPUSA from its leadership.

Conyers has the longest record of supporting all three communist parties (CPUSA, Socialist Workers Party, and Workers World Party), as well as the Soviet Union (KAL 007 shootdown, World Peace Council, a KGB/CPSU front, etc), of anyone in Congress or even outside of it (Dellums, Abzug - a possible Soviet asset, George Crockett Jr, etc).

Let’s hope that the voters of Detroit have finally awoken to the commie fraud that Conyers is and has been, and that he and his comrade Mayor Coleman Young (d), also a CPUSA stalwart, were responsible for the destruction of their city.

Otherwise, another 2 years of a stinking old traitor, but that’s the Democrat Party for you (loaded with 80 communists, marxists, socialists and traitors).

Lots of documentation on Conyers at www.keywiki.org and www.DiscoverTheNetwork.org.

We’re talking Detroit, here. The D ALWAYS wins. The problem for Conyers is that he was too incompetent to get his name on the primary ballot.

I think the closest race Conyers ever had was when he only got 70% of the votes

US Constitution
Article 1
Section 5

Each House shall be the judge of the elections, returns and qualifications of its own members, and a majority of each shall constitute a quorum to do business; but a smaller number may adjourn from day to day, and may be authorized to compel the attendance of absent members, in such manner, and under such penalties as each House may provide.

I don't see any room for a judicial snout here.

Doesn’t matter that he failed to garner the necessary 1,000 signatures... laws are for the unwashed masses. The elites must always be given the benefit of the doubt.

“So if he loses the election will that be overturned as well?”

The judge just decreed that Conyers will not lose, even if he does.
