Three people were killed and two were injured during multiple shootings on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach late Saturday.
Parts of Ocean Boulevard were shut down while police investigated the shootings.
The first occurred about 9:30 p.m. at Sixth Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach police spokesman Capt. David Knipes said. One man was shot and taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Officers still were investigating the first shooting at about 11 p.m. when another shooting occurred at Bermuda Sands Resort, about seven blocks away at First Avenue North. Two people died immediately on the scene, and two were taken to Grand Strand with gunshot wounds.

This is all that you can expect the police to do. They were investigating the first shooting when the second shooting occurred nearby. The police do not prevent shootings, they investigate them and attempt to find those responsible. That's what they are organized, equipped, and trained to do, don't expect them to do much more.

Man! That looks like my dream vacation week. I was planning a trip to Nigeria, but he’ll, this Myrtle Beach Black Jungle Week looks too good to pass up. So there’s an outside chance I can wind up a chalk outline,....just check out those 359 pound babes!!

Last year, the police tried to make them behave and were accused of, you guessed it, Raaaacism.
Last week at MB they hosted Harley Bike Fest and not one smidgin of trouble. Wife and I were down there last year between to two bike weeks. The day we left, the BBW gangs were starting to come in. It was amazing how quick a resort town turns into a jungle overnight. I would get banned if I posted some of the things that happened the day we were leaving, so I can only imagine what goes on during the weekends.
I’m doing fine I took my nephew and cousins to play putt-putt golf and Ice I took one look at the beach was like no away.
