I did some reading once on OMGs, Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs. These things seem to happen with them from time to time.

The old “who’s is bigger” mentality. Or lack of mentality.

I am going to the Republic of Texas bike rally next month.

It will be great time and I am sure that I will be safer there than almost any night in certain metro areas (Detroit, Newark, etc).

As far as OMGs are concerned. In Texas, there is only one major club, the Bandidos. I have never had any problems with any of them. The bikers with the real attitudes are the support clubs who are wannabes.
You can avoid some problems with other bikers by not doing stupid things like wearing “Sons of Anarchy” patches on your back or pretending you are an outlaw. I am independent rider, so I avoid all the back patch issues all together.
