I suspect that may have been my underlying motive, but I couldn’t bring myself to fly it upside-down. Perhaps I thought it was disrespectful (another conversation) but I probably thought it was better not to fly it.

I regret it.

We used to fly our flag every day, but I stopped flying the flag in 2009, putting it up only on Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.

America as we know it no longer stands for the land of the free, or the home of the brave, rather it's the land of the moocher and land of the moron voter. On a daily basis, our flag stands for what our country stands for.

Now I only fly the flag when it clearly stands for what our country used to stand for.

I don't regret it one bit.
