On a night when Patrick has delivered a great victory for Conservatism and for the State of Texas, you can’t get over the unfortunate fact that Cornyn was not turned out. Patrick’s victory will change Cornyn’s behavior, although probably not his attitude and philosophy. Take what you can get and take the next step forward.
As a NJ conservative who is watching and loves Texas politics (The place where people who believe what I do actually win), I’m curious what some people’s aversion to Dan Patrick is based on?
He seems to be the clear cut better over the incumbent. Is he still a bit RINOish overall though?
