The door swings both ways but the Dems who think that Father Satan will always let them sit on his lap and protect them are too stupid to realize this. May their fall be exceedingly great.

To paraphrase a screeching Hillary, we are Americans and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.

It is not a proper use of technology to capture and make record of what somebody says, then punish them for expression of political beliefs. Yet we seem to be moving in that direction.

Bill was sponsored in Congress by Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, representing New York's 8th congressional district in Brooklyn and Queens.

The left proves again they do not want free speech rights given to those Americans who disagree with them, in essence the majority of the country.

The old Soviet Union and the Third Reich had this same "First Amendment".

"You can say anything you like. Just don't say anything you don't like."

A great historian stated: “people pass laws against that which they fear.” The left is becoming frightened. They are seeking to control speech. They are arming themselves at a massive rate. I think they realize that those currently in power are incompetent souls who do not even belong to our society.

From a philosophical point of view, conservatives generally do not believe in abusing laws to hurt others - they prefer to use laws in an ethical manner to prevent or correct malignant acts. When the left proposes laws that are ripe for abuse (like this one), the left is tacitly using the ethics of the right against them.

I gotta say, I have watched Senator Edward J. Markey for a long time here in this poorest excuse for a state. He is a hack. A moronic, odious, unctuous piece of shit.

The Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014 (S. 2219) would create a comprehensive report of Internet and other telecommunications speech regarding gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. It would also create recommendations to address such crimes.

The fact that they're even trying this indicates that they are worried that they are losing the debate online, and thus need to terminate discussion.

I think that increasing numbers of people are voicing their opinions, and those opinions are increasingly contrary to the accepted "politically correct" opinions, and the Dems think they need to move quickly before a consensus is reached that PC has gone too far.

The Dems nightmare scenario is for people to respond to "You're racist!" with "So what?", rather than being cowed into defensiveness.
