At precisely the time the untrustworthy gummint is demanding all manner of unprecedented freedoms, the freedoms of individuals is going away.

1. a chef is said to have used a bad word ONE time 30 years prior while being robbed —her career is over

2. a bb owner says some indecorous things in a private phone conversation —his company is taken from him.

3. a CEO is found to have typed some adolescent things while he was in college —his reputation is destroyed.

Here is a wonderful line from a poster on a website discussing Paula Deen. This person is angry because someone else called for whites to boycott Walmart:

“you are a prejudice idoit”.

I’m guessing that you did not read the emails that were posted online a few days ago.

Or maybe you were a frat boy and behaved the same way.

And/or maybe you have no daughters.

As a college freshman in 1976, I used our bicentennial as a reason to tell the frat pushers to pound sand.

Getting girls so drunk that you can pi$$ on them is a tad beyond adolescent behavior. JMO. That we have an untrustworthy government (Nixon had just resigned shortly before I went off to school) is hardly comparable to this kind of personal behavior.
