I wish there was this much fever to to elect Bryan Smith over the increasingly moderate Mike Simpson in Idaho. But of course Simpson isn't the all important party leader and Smith had a real chance to win so it would be silly for me to expect anyone to be interested in that when playing Don Quixote is so much more fun. "Headhunting" party leaders with poorly funded unknown challengers, ignoring far less conservative and beatable douchebags like Simpson and Walter Jones, smart politics!
To be fair to Brat, his service on the "Joint Advisory Board of Economists" (they do economic forecasts supposedly non partisanly) while Kaine was Governor doesn't appear to be malicious.
