Only after Roe v. Wade did unborn babies cease to be persons. Only to allow the free exercise of their murder. If the baby isn't a person, then there's no need to kill it.

The principal at the public high school where I teach found out his wife (both in their 50’s) was expecting a baby with downs.
His announcement email started “we are so excited that God is blessing us with a baby that has special needs...”
He's a strong Christian and very proud of his new son; I'm proud of him and wife, we need more folks like that in public schools.

My wife was a special ed teacher for 30 years. The Down Syndrome kids were nearly always favorites. They were some of her better, more pleasant students.
