My very good buddy and his wife were pregnant with their second, when the doctor told them the unborn child had down’s.
He told them they should abort as the kid would never have a normal life.
Praise God my buddy is a good God fearing Christian, and ignored Satan’s lies. His second daughter is now about 10, beautiful, healthy and no downs.
Even if she had downs, that doesn’t make that life any less precious than any other life. All life is from God, therefore all life is a gift from God.
