Embattled Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki announced fixes to the crisis in the VA system on Friday, then met with President Barack Obama to learn if he would stay in his job.

This reminds me of the scene in Schindler's List where the Germans are trying to build a structure and are failing miserably. A Polish woman steps forward and tells them they are doing it wrong. She explains the right way to do it while informing them that she is an engineer by trade and had received her degree at Krakow Institute of Engineering. The German officer then proceeds to shoot her dead, and then orders the German soldiers to build it like she said.
