I am waiting for the congress person with enough sense to propose a law banning federal money for all sex change operations across the board. None for federal prisoners, none for military, none for medicare, etc. They don’t pay for nose or boob jobs, so why should they pay for this?
If changing their appearance makes them feel better/ more like themselves, they should pay for it with their own money out of their own pockets. Only the the looniest lib would have a problem with a law like that.
They pay for it because the freaks at the APA have decided that homosexuality and transsexuality are not mental disorders. Which they are! If transsexuality is a medical condition than an insurance must pay for it.
