Didn’t Ireland get out of the UK? Who is infecting Ireland to adopt UK’s hard-on for bowing down to Islam? May as well change the name from Republic of Ireland to Islamic State of Ireland. I don’t get the western world’s desire to bow before Islam and declare it the most equal (and superior) of all religions.

It's because the Muzzies vote 90% Socialist.

The Muzzies also hate Western values and traditions, so they fit right in with Western Socialists.

"Didn’t Ireland get out of the UK?"

This happened in BELFAST, Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland belongs to the UK. The rest of Ireland (5/6 of it) is an independent country called Republic of Ireland. Belfast is in the part that belongs to the UK.

It’s Belfast. Still a part of the UK. I’m sure free Ireland also has nutty rules against insulting Islam.

“Didn’t Ireland get out of the UK?”

Was that a serious reply? It’s hard to tell sometimes whether a comment is subtle and brilliant satire or mind-numbing blindness - there’s a bit of overlap between the two.

Suffice it to say that Northern Ireland is a part of the U.K., and the Republic of Ireland is a nominally independent nation. This two-state solution is what has historically and euphemistically been described as a “compromise”, known better colloquially as “casus belli”.

You see, the ultra-loyalist lowland Scots the British monarchy imported to settle the Ulster plantation largely remain, to this day, ultra-loyalist... much to the chagrin of a U.K. that would best wish to be rid of the business entirely. This can at times result in some minor difficulty for all parties involved, and will likely continue to do so until one party or the other is pushed off the island (or until they find some common enemy to murder in the meantime).
