Rice fires back on Bergdahl criticism (Hussein's Constitutional responsibilities)
The Hill ^ | 6/01/14 | Kevin Cirilli

U.S. National Security Adviser Susan Rice pushed back on Sunday against GOP claims that the administration negotiated with terrorists by transferring five Taliban prisoners in Guantanamo Bay to Qatar in exchange for the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl on Saturday.

"I wouldn't put it that way," Rice said on CNN's "State of the Union" when asked if the exchange means that U.S. officials can no longer say they don't negotiate with terrorists.

"Why didn't you notify Congress?" Crowley asked, referencing the law that requires the president to alert Congress in 30 days before transferring any prisoners from Guantanamo Bay.

Rice said that Bergdahl's health was "growing more fragile" and that "we were very concerned that time was not something that we could play with."

"The Department of Defense consulted with the Department of Justice and given the acute urgency of the health condition of Sgt. Bergdahl and given the president's Constitutional responsibilities, it was determined that it was necessary and appropriate not to adhere to the 30-day notification requirements because it would have potentially meant that the opportunity to get Sgt. Bergdahl would have been lost," Rice said.

Rice said the administration had previously notified members of Congress about the potential for such an exchange.

"We had briefed Congress in the past about this potential," Rice said.

"In the past," Crowley interrupted. "But when you knew that you were going [to act]?"

"When the deal was done and Sgt. Bergdahl was in U.S. custody was when we began making notifications to Congress."

"But the deal had already been made and the prisoners from Guantanamo Bay were already en route to the plane to go to Qatar?" Crowley asked.

"No, actually Congress began to be notified when Sgt. Bergdahl was in American hands which was actually before the prisoners had left," Rice said.

Has she ever said anything like that about the VA hospitals?

Good men died and others suffered life altering wounds in the operations that captured those Taliban terrorists and in the efforts to find a soldier who walked away from his unit unarmed. Wonder if Obama will be posing with their families?

When I saw the headline my first thought was, why is Condi discussing this? Then I remembered that there is more than one brand of Rice, and Susan is a brand that will never go against the grain.

So in other words he deserted the Army to join the Taliban and when he found out he needed to see a doctor he agreed to get in on the scam of trading for terrorists. It'll be interesting to see how Brother Bergdahl, peace be upon him, will be acting in the coming months. I assume he will join his radical Islamo father and be praying to Mecca umpteen times a day and calling for Fatwahs on the infidels.

Question: Why do we say “Ameen” during prayers?
In the Islam Forum, aspar asks: Why do Muslims end prayers with “Ameen” and Christians with “Amen?” Where did these words come from and what do they mean?

Answer: Amen (also pronounced Ahmen, Aymen, Ameen or Amin) is a word which is used in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam to express agreement with God’s truth. It is believed to have originated from an ancient Semitic word consisting of three consonants: A-M-N. In both Hebrew and Arabic, this root word means truthful, firm, and faithful. Common English translations include “verily,” “truly,” “it is so,” or “I affirm God’s truth.”
This word is used in Judaism and Christianity as an ending word for prayers and hymns. When saying “amen,” worshippers confirm their belief in God’s word, or affirm agreement with what is being preached or recited.

In Islam, the pronuciation “ameen” is often recited during daily prayers at the end of Surah Al-Fatihah (the first chapter of the Qur’an). It is also said during and at the end of personal supplications (du’a).

Any use of ameen in Islamic prayer is considered optional (sunnah), not required (wajib). The practice is based on the example and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. He reportedly told his followers to say ‘ameen’ after the imam (prayer leader) finishes reciting the Fatiha because: “If a person’s saying ‘ameen’ at that time coincides with the angels saying ‘ameen’, his previous sins will be forgiven.”

There is some difference of opinion among Muslims about whether “ameen” should be said during prayer in a quiet voice or a loud voice. Very few debate about whether it should be said at all; its use is widespread among Muslims.

This pos also stated that it was our policy to “leave no man behind”. Odd, she didn’t give a rats behind about the guys in Benghazi being left behind. This is what a slut for islam looks like.

We have three witches and one or two or three anti-Constitutional males on the Supreme Court, depending on the direction of the Wind. The Constitution is to all intents and purposes .... VOIDED. S. Rice is just going with the Regime flow.
The Coup is an accomplished fact. Though I watched the Old Nut from Arizona on TV this morning and he looked like some one had stolen his strawberry ice cream when questioned about the EXCHANGE OF FIVE TERRORISTS FOR ONE DESERTER by Obama. There maybe a subliminal Progressive-Congressional Medal Of Honor in process for the spying that Bergdahl engaged in.

Does anyone notice that we no longer have a president who believes that that old rule of law thing applies to him?

These are the actions of a dictator.
