That case rang my bell then. More than prisoner swaps terrorists need money and have been openly seeking it.
Also deserter boy was never a high priority at the top of our government. Obama wanted Gitmo closed this bad? Yeah. Enough to return terrorists to the battle ground against American soldiers and our allies.
Millions of tax payer dollars at work spent to get it done. Obama is a tyrant aiding our enemy, and he is out of control of himself with power.
I expect him to announce that he is Muslim any day.
All those are good points. There is another possible warped motivation for Obama to do this. Obama wants to close Gitmo. These five dangerous high ranking terrorists have been an impediment. Can’t just let them go right? well he finds a way to just let them go under the guise of a phony swap. The Haggani got nothing out of this. The whole thing is either phony or he laundered money to Haggani. But either way now that the five baddest ones are gone it makes it easier for Obama to just release the rest of them & let em all go.
