Nothing humorous about it. It was homophobia pure and simple that caused the cancellation of the F 111. That side-by-side, Reggie-Barry seating was causing right-wing evangelicals to become suspicious.

I recommend that the trusty F 111 be bought back from the Australians and be used to equip squadrons of LGBTG "married" warriors and be flown on J-4 made with MacDonald's French Fry Cooking Oil. (Gluten-Free, of course!)
