Happens all the time. They wave; we wave. No harm, no foul. We do it to them as well. A couple of us on here have flown the rc-135 and can attest. A better question might be, who writes such stupid headlines?
That's not true at all. I've known several over the years and they are top flight and fearless. Moreover, they don't have to put up with all the risk-adverse and political correctness nonsense that we foist on our pilots.
