A U.S. Army investigation found that Bowe Bergdahl had walked away from his post at least once before his capture - and that other soldiers in his unit knew he was a flight risk.
The 2010 report, called an AR15-6, is still classified, but it appears to confirm allegations that the former prisoner of war violated military regulations - and that the Pentagon knew it all along.
The revelation, attributed to anonymous sources by the Military Times, comes as the nation's top general, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey, acknowledged the growing cloud of suspicion hanging over Bergdahl.
The Military Times report says that investigators who looked into the June 2009 capture of Bergdahl found that several soldiers from his unit said he had talked openly about wanting to leave the forward operating base where he was stationed.
They found he may have left the base at least once before, as well.
'We have no indication that he intended to leave permanently,' an official told the Military Times.
However, a different source described as a former senior military official, told the New York Times that Bergdahl left a startling note in his tent saying that he no longer supported the Army mission in Afghanistan and that he was leaving to start a new life.
Even amid the mounting evidence that Bergdahl left his post, military law experts told the Military Times that it was unlikely Bergdahl would be court martialed and imprisoned....

The second photo at the link misidentifies Bergdhal as the one in the T-shirt. He’s actually the one on the left. His name is on the sleeve of his fatigues. The traitor’s head shape is weird...looks like an alien.
All I can say about that comment from his higher officers is that it was a different military under Reagan. Court Martials were normal and for much smaller infractions. You were expected to be a soldier loyal to your country. What kind of idiots are running the military now.
I still have a little faith in military justice system. Too many eyes on this case. Brass must proceed. Update investigation. Grill Bergdahl. Do not allow him to be indoctrinated by his weird parents. Put him in custody.
For Obozo and his mediots, they are damned if they do and damned worse if they don’t prosecute Bergdahl.....................

Which one? There are quite a number of foreign legions in the world.
The most famous one is French.
Most of those who sign up want to become French Citizens after their service.

While the Obama administration is proudly touting how it was able to free an American soldier who was captured by the Taliban, what no one picked is the fact that Obama SMILED as soon as he heard the most famous war cry of Islam, “bismillah al-rahman al-rahim,” Arabic for “in the name of Allah the most gracious, the most merciful.”
Watch Obama smile as soon as Bergdahl gives the most famous Muslim expression, the “Bismillah” or the “Basmallah”:
The “basmallah” is the Islamic expression for victory and only indicates that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s father is a Muslim.
Think that the man is acting as “Muslim” for a stealth operation to rescue his son who is already in good hands in Germany? And what is with the long beard and trimmed mustache?
No this is not a bum, biker, or a Santa Clause fan. When one gives the basmallah, trims his mustache and elongates his beard, its the first sign of a convert to Islam, just as that an ex-Muslim putting on a cross and saying, “In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” is evidence enough of conversion to Christianity. But there is much more we obtained on this stealth jihadist.
But first, Obama’s smile says much. Obama has never declared the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and has no real testimony of converting to Christianity, as his pastor Jeremiah Wright stated:

We were first hit with news from Brietbart that the Taliban said that Robert Bowe Bergdahl’s son, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, converted to Islam, changed his name to Abdullah, and even trained the Taliban in bomb making techniques.

For clarity, I will just concentrate on a few questions that everyone should be demanding answers to.
Will the TWO promotions granted to the traitor while he was aiding the enemy be rescinded and all pay recovered?
In view of the (as yet unconfirmed) rumor that Mr. Jane Fonda actually left a note rescinding his American citizenship, WILL HIS PENDING THIRD PROMOTION STILL GO THROUGH?
We have us a new scandal; removal of all competent and ethical officers in the military, and retaining only the ones who treat the "job" as their private playground and milking the system for their personal benefit and the promotion of their perversion of choice, personal interests or whatever...

I don’t think it’s going to turn out to be that simple. I think that Michael Hastings was on to something when he profiled Bergdahl for Rolling Stone. Hastings was killed for what he knew that never made it into print. The FBI was all over him and his source for that article. You should look into it. I think this story is like an onion, layer after layer......don’t just believe the MSM “big argument” between the GOP and the Dems on this...all a smokescreen...
Unless he’s convicted of something in the next few days his promotion will go through to Staff Sergeant, E-6, as I understand it. That means he’ll be making $3,228.60 per month plus $738 a month quarters allowance. There are other benefits, as well, such as completely free medical, dental, life insurance, vision and legal, clothing allowance, separate rations, reduced cost shopping, etc., etc...
Today in WSJ they say the admin HAD to exchange Bergdahl because a VIDEO showed his health was deteriorating. Hmmm.
Same excuse as last time.
Not to mention a movie deal and speaking tour, followed by public office.
Kind of like Lee Harvey Oswald’s defection to the USSR or more recently the Boston Bombing Brothers! Next thing you he will be handing out pamphlets on street corners under heavy FBI/CIA surveillance. Then when he does something really bad they can say they had him on their radar but didn’t think anything of it...
And for someone who is clearly a traitor, that is a problem..... why?
Is he moving to Berkeley or Seattle?
Probably to Virginia so he has an easy commute to his new post at the Pentagon.
