Do not be surprised if they come out and say Bergdahl was under orders to infiltrate the Taliban. Wait for it!

Hagel said today he doesn’t know the specifics. This is a set up so he can say “We had to wait until he was safely home before we could tell the whole story.”

There has been some speculation, mostly via Alex Jones, that Bergdahl was a double agent sent to infiltrate the Taliban. It's remotely plausible, except if he had really been a double agent the swap for him would have been handled very differently: No Rose Garden grandstanding, for example, and no expectations by the WH for a “hero's welcome.”

Of course, the truth is a fluid thing in the 0bama administration, and has a habit of changing after the fact.
