Churches and social groups?
Why do you guys always leave out the Mosques and gay churches, and the Mormon Temples, and cults, and atheists?
FWIW, I have a relative who obtained a civil union with his partner the first week it was allowed in VT. What the town hall granted was a civil union, recognizing their legal, inheritance and care rights. Then later in the day they had a wedding ceremony at a Unitarian Church. What's wrong with that being the only involvement of the gov for everyone?
I thought conservatives wanted the gov to get out of our private religious lives.
