Yeah, Glasscock County looks close to the center of activity.
They didn’t put an end to the boom and bust cycle however.
This one will likely run a bit longer with the big boom lasting maybe till 2020 and prosperity running for maybe 10 years after that.
imho cheap natural gas is going to cause a big shift away from oil around the world starting in the USA. But right now the demand for oil is so high and rising while and USA is one of the very few places in the world with rising oil production.... I don’t think rising US oil production will do anything but keep oil prices from choking off the economy. so prices will stay steady for the next 5-6 years.
Another words, these are the good old days of oil business.
I would agree with that. My brother thinks the boom will run another 2-3 years, I think 4-6.
