What really PO’s me about this story is the ‘village’ of ‘Black Professionals”.

Nice that they are putting effort into this person. But...

Why ITF are they not collectively coming down like Thor’s hammer on each and every piece of human garbage in their ‘communities’ that turned out this person? And a few MILLION just like her?

No, not the drug dealers and pimps in Rap world, though that would be nice too. I mean the Jacksons and Sharptons, big and small that invite victimhood, sloth and hate whitey?

That’s what I’d do. Go after the problem, not try correcting the result. Because as soon as they leave, she reverts to cheeze puffs and Drank.

She’s graduating from High School at age 20?

Yes, although there's a mitigating factor in that she apparently missed a year of school while dealing with the Zimmerman trial. So, all other things being equal, she could have graduated last year at age 19.

Which is still pretty late in life to just be getting out of high school, but...she has trouble reading cursive. ;-)

I remember during the trial, it was mentioned that she spoke three different languages.

Too bad English wasn’t one of them.

Remember when Jesse Jackson offered to pay for Crystal Magnum’s education?

“I must have missed that part of the trial.”

ROFL this idiotic tub of lard couldn’t even read her own writing. If there was a spark or fire, it must be after her seeing an ad for a nearby buffet line.

To tell the truth, my heart really does go out to her. Both in her family circumstances and in her education, she has been very much disadvantaged, and the culture has taught her how to maximize the pathetic advantages you can get from victimhood rather than achievement.

I do salute the "village" of trainers-teachers-mentors who have contributed time and expertise to help her.

She's still a child of God and there's still hope for her.

"support"

I've argued that point with libs on a number of forums. One response by libs is that if black kids go to white colleges, they'll be discriminated against. Then I asked why then do so many people try to get underqualified blacks in white colleges? No answer.

I agree with what you are saying and try to hold out hope that people will come around to a constructive life. But even with all her professional mentors of the correct skin color and tuition offers and support from celebrities she still appears to be more influenced by Treyvon types.

Is anyone else troubled about her appearance at the trial? The letter she was asked to read, in cursive, was supposedly a letter she herself had written. Yet, when asked to read it aloud, she had to admit she couldn’t read cursive.

According to the Washington Post, that was sass and bravado. They obviously aren't troubled by it.

“Trayvon is the victim!” she often snaps back. “He did nothing.”

I'm sure the Washington Post published those pictures in the article.
