Whenever I hear McCain, or Graham speak, all I can think of is political grandstanding. Of all the people in Congress, those two do absolutely nothing to motivate me, or sway my opinion.
J. Edgar Effing Hoover learned, instituted and propitiated a valuable contol mechanism. Even though by most accounts, he was a queer, who lived a secret life, Hoover kept meticulous records of every foible, every bribe, every liaison outside of the paramters of acceptable American values.
He used them. No president, no senator, no representative, no state governor, no mayor, no industry captain, no one was immune from Hoover.
It is ironic that one of the the biggest vacuum manufacturers is also called Hoover.
People wonder why, after gaining election as a “populist”, a “reformer”, a “champion” of the people, becomes just like his or her’s counterparts, of either party, the new centurion you believed in would abandon every principle.
Well, J. Edgar is dead, but the collection continues, the folders are updated, and all is retained for one purpose. “Let’s just review this folder together, and see what we have to see about you”.

We all are compromised in one way or another. I know I have secrets I would not wish to be made public, but even more so, if I was a “public” person appointed or elected.
So, if you wonder whatever happened to this great hope, this savior on the horizon, this fixer of all that is ill, broken, corrupt, well, now you know.
They are all compromised. None of them are able to stand against their own foibles and misdeeds.
Satan is the accuser. Always has been. Do not look to men for justice. It will not be there.
