I hope Bergdahl tells U.S. authorities the truth. That he stayed in Afghanistan voluntarily as a defector to aid the terrorists against American troops and that his return to the U.S. was against his wishes but he "took one for the team" as a martyr for his Taliban get their 5 big fish back.

Will the U.S. program/brainwash Bergdahl to fall in line with the regime's narrative that he was kidnapped? Probably.

The “talks” had been going on for three years, not months. In 2011, the WH twice went to the Intelligence Committee and asked if they could do this - and both times, they were told NO, absolutely not.

So then they just went underground until Obama had been reelected and felt he was powerful enough to carry it off.

Karzai did not want this done and even the Pakistanis didn’t want it to happen, so clearly, there was no support for this except among the Taliban...and Obama.

My first reaction to seeing this headline was an emotional one. So, I held my breath for ten seconds.

Everything that is coming from the Obama Administration is purely emotional. The propaganda either appeals to Obama's 47% in a positive way or it is meant to push the buttons of true Americans.

I am waiting for elected officials to calmly layout the case for how wrong our government is. Make it clear. Make it black and white. There needs to be a pivot by the next conservative POTUS.

I will only satisfied if every Gitmo detainee either slowly rots to death or is tried and executed.

There is a lot more clean up work that needs to be done. The State Dept. needs to be restructured and downsized. The US military needs to be cleaned up too. There is no room in the State Dept. or US military for faggots, homosexuals, socialists, communists and Muslims, I think we need a good 10 to 20 elected conservatives that would finish the job of tail-gunner Joe. Maybe this will advert the coming revolution.

I absolutely do. Boehner, McConnell, and the rest of the enablers are nothing less than accessories to the crime of destroying America. Fixing this, if it is even possible, will require radical action and it will require recognition and acceptance of the Republican party's complete unwillingness to fight (as well as their outright complicity on issues like illegal immigration).

I still think we are headed for CWII at some point, but as terrible as that would be I am more fearful that it won't happen because too many have become more attached to their "stuff" and their comfort than to this nation's founding principles. To put it bluntly: People like that don't deserve to be Americans.

Let's see. The deserter was turned over last Saturday (6 days ago). There has been a firestorm of criticism. They said they made the deal because of health reasons. Now, they confabulated a story that Birgdahl was to be killed and so Obama took that deal, but just now tells the public. Their lies know no bounds. And by the way he said, he offers no regrets, PERIOD. PERIOD!

Well, we shall see.
