What the Senate does or does not do is not the issue. If they are still on control they will not convict. But as a matter of principle I think they need to go thru the procedure. Then the onus falls on the democrat controlled Senate who if they vote in party unity show they dont give a damn about the Republic,

That is exactly the point. That is why we must absolutely take the Senate back and increase our seats in the House. What is so hard to understand?
