“If Cruz votes against McConnell and decides he’s not going to be caucusing with Republicans, kicking him off all his committees is an obvious move,” Feehery told Time.

But they never did this with Lisa Murkowski!!! She REFUSED to support the republican nominee and then ran as an independent. But SHE was never removed from any committees.

I think we all know why.

The internet is the great equalizer and keeps what little disinformation and propaganda open to those willing to look.

The internet will be the next great battle because once yours and others voices are silenced then we once again have no way of knowing that others feel and think like we do.

The Tea Party needs to try to get a ONE candidate in each state and try to eliminate one RINO per cycle. By concentrating the votes and money the Tea party can slowly get rid of the RINOs which are only democrats in conservative suits.

The Speaker of the House has been pretty good about removing conservatives from committees. Ask Tim Huelskamp, Justin Amash, Walter Jones and David Schweikert.

If a duly elected representative is not allowed to “represent We the People,” we then no longer a Republic, nor is the party to which we belong Republican.

So to that end, what we have is an oligarchy and is no longer Constitutional.

And this would then make the GOP-E, traitors.

I love Brietbart.com, but this article is a bunch of hyperbolic nonsense whose main source is a Time magazine article written to stir up trouble. This recap is the conservative equivalent of a liberal website's running with a bogus-in-the-first-place global warming study and picking out quotes to headline the "warming will end the world!"

The two "establishment Republicans" quoted in the article are "a former GOP Senate leadership aide" who we can assume doesn't currently have a job and a "consultant" who "worked for Bob Michal" - a guy that's been out of office for twenty years!

These two "establishment Republicans" are nobodies trying to become somebodies by waving red meat at Times readers.

Time magazine runs these article to gin up interparty anger amongst Republicans, and Brietbart is trying to get clicks by promoting it.

We have enough well-deserved enmity for the establishment Republicans, without letting the likes of Time magazine foment even greater levels. Cruz seems to be fairly well liked by all sides in the party. That's why Time magazine is stirring the pot.

This is the number 1 reason that losing Mitch McConnell’s seat to a Democrat will actually be a gain.

Good point!
