Las Vegas Police Shooters ID’d: Married, Meth-Using Neo-Nazi Socialists
The Gateway Pundit ^ | 6-9-2014 | Jim Hoft

The Las Vegas police shooters were identified as two Neo-Nazi socialists.

Neighbors said “Jared” and “Amanda” had talked about killing police officers then going underground until the time was right to come out and kill some more.

They were also meth-heads.

The conspiracy nuts were drug addicts. The Las Vegas Review Journal reported:

The shooters were a married couple thought to be in their late 20s who were new to the Las Vegas Valley, according to a law enforcement official close to the investigation. Police are looking into their links to the white supremacy movement and found swastika symbols during their initial investigation.

Residents of the Bruce Street apartment complex gathered outside the building to talk about the couple whose unit was being searched.

Several neighbors identified the man as Jared, while one called the woman Amanda.

Like many of the neighbors contacted, Krista Koch said she didn’t know the couple’s last names. She described them as “militant.” They talked about planning to kill police officers, “going underground” and not coming out until the time was right to kill.

Brandon Monroe, 22, has lived in the complex for about two weeks. He said the man who lived in the apartment that was being searched often rambled about conspiracy theories. He often wore camouflage or dressed as Peter Pan to work as a Fremont Street Experience street performer. A woman lived with him, Monroe said, but he didn’t see her as often.

The couple was using meth. The Washington Times reported:

A picture is starting to form about the two shooting suspects who are accused of killing two police officers and a female civilian before turning the guns on themselves in Las Vegas over the weekend: They were a husband-wife team, reported white supremacists and reputed methamphetamine users who were obsessed with conspiracy theories, investigators say.

The suspected shooters — now dead — were identified by a neighbor as Jared and Amanda, the Daily Mail reported. Their last names are still not released.

They reportedly stormed a Cici’s Pizza on the northeastern edge of Las Vegas, where two police officers were eating their lunch. They shot the two officers — both at point blank and one in the head — and then ransacked their bodies for ammunition and weapons, the Daily Mail reported. The couple then reportedly tossed a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag over their bodies.

The dead officers have been identified as Alyn Beck, 42, and Igor Soldo, 31.

I’m amazed that the media hasn’t yet claimed that these nuts were tea party.

They get close. Apparently, they were out at Bundy's ranch during the BLM standoff and they "harbored anti-government ideology"

Justice Department reconstitutes domestic terror task force
By Kevin Daley | June 9, 2014 | 6:36 pm

Topics: Beltway Confidential Eric Holder Terrorism Attorney
Attorney General Eric Holder announced the Justice Department will reestablish a Clinton-era committee tasked with sharing and assessing domestic terror threats just days before a Las Vegas-area shooting spree left five dead.

The Domestic Terrorism Executive Committee was first convened in 1995 by Attorney General Janet Reno, in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing. Holder said the Justice Department’s anti-terrorism focus shifted abroad after 9/11, but insisted threats posed by al Qaeda are now diminished thanks to President Obama’s “strong and effective anti-terror efforts.

“But we must also concern ourselves with the continued danger we face from individuals within our own borders,” Holder continued. He restricted his definition of extremist groups to the far right, defining domestic terrorists as those “motivated by a variety of other causes from anti-government animus to racial prejudice.”

Jerad Miller was a wacko enviro nut job:

“Connie Kennedy of Lafayette said the Millers lived in the house across the street from her for about a year and a half.

“She was nice, I mean, she was a really sweet girl,” Kennedy said. “He was kind of out there, but nothing-oh my gosh-nothing that would make it seem like he do something like this.”

Kennedy said that she was on her way home late last year when she turned onto her street and saw a police officer with his gun drawn and pointed toward the Miller’s home.

The next day, she asked Amanda what had happened.

“She said, ‘Oh they’re after him. He always thinks they’re after him,’ “ Kennedy said. “She just kind of rolled her eyes.”

“He was different. He would, like, come outside and take pictures of planes or the sky, and he’d say stuff like, ‘See how they’re polluting our air with all that junk in the sky,’ and he’d go on and on about the environment.”

Do you know any cops? Most of them are on our side. I halfway expected all the cop haters here on FR to be giddy about these murders.

I’ve met a few, but I don’t really know any cops well. Most of those I’ve interacted with have been decent and professional, but there have been a few a**holes. Same as anyone else, except those few are operating under the color of authority. I’m certainly not a “cop hater”. I appreciate that they do a difficult job, and they’re not responsible for writing the laws they enforce.

What I don’t like is that when they make egregious errors like breaking down the wrong door, shooting the family dog or shooting an innocent person, they are seldom held to account. I’ve always thought that just as assaulting an officer is a more serious crime that assaulting an ordinary citizen, so should there be enhanced penalties for cops who break the law. Instead they usually get a slap on the wrist at most. I also do worry about the militarization of the police and the tendency to use excessive force for routine things like serving warrants. I think most of what you term “cop haters” on FR are also reacting to the same, though maybe overreacting.

Read “Hound of the Baskervilles”. The media dog isn’t barking. And that’s something to be suspicious of.

I read that when I was young. Nice analogy. I found it weird when Israel bombed the crap out of some syrian installation in the desert about 2007 and no one not even Iran complained. And the media barely reported it too. What was that about ?

This should be a front page story for the media hating left.
