Ok. Frankly, this does explain why the State Department was silencing employees. That didn’t wash with the concept of CIA gun-running. It also explains why the ‘Mission’ looked so picturesque, vs. the typical US-designed consular buildings that focus on security, rather than as being backdrops for photo-ops. (see here http://www.donparrish.com/LibyaWeb/USEmbassyTripoli.jpg)
Though the allegation doesn’t change much in the scheme of things, other than to portray conservatives as conspiracy-theorists and rally the left in their common mental deficiency...as without testimony from a State employee on this, and without people actively investigating it (journalists or otherwise), it’s just another opinion. I truly hope someone finds one or two who want to go public on this without waiting until summer of ‘16.
And insofar as the Libyan allegation goes, history has time to judge the Puppet, and harshly he will be judged despite all the spin and attempts to control the public domain narrative. Progressives may be content in their little fantasy for now, but reality is right around the corner.
