It’s like talking about race with libs. An alarm bell immediately goes off in their heads that tells them to shut down the conversation, drown out the other person, quash any contradictory and hence unpleasant thoughts that might get loose in the vacant hallways of their brains.
Very good, and very true.
Short of finding its own way to overturn all the things which are bedeviling it, for instance, (which is the preferable solution to many 'social ills'), no one else is allowed to mention the problems which rampage through any ethnic community, and those within the community will be shouted down as acting as 'outsiders', or an equally derisive epithet.
People who insist on others having problems (perhaps so they can feel superior) will always stand in the way of the frank discussions needed to find real and lasting solutions.
