My Dad loved ham and Lima beans, I had to suffer it all mylife.
I think he learned to love it in the 40’s in the army. Made me alway skritch my head Why do you love what the troops universally call Ham and Mother****ers?
Well he loved that stuff and I suppose hem just never got 3 squares a day before.
Ah well, I don’t have to eat it anymore LOL
I picked the ham out and the had to eat the beans alone. *bad tactic* LOL
My Dad liked it too. One thing he didn’t like very much was fried chicken. In China, among other things, he drove an officer around and to meetings and dinners. At one of the dinners there was a big bowl in the center of the table and you dipped stuff out...he got the chicken head and eyes staring at him. YUCK!
