“Open primary”

That’s what I’m thinking - bunch of dems vote for the “weak” Republican, and then the Dem wins the final election. I hope we are wrong.

In Cantor’s heavily republican district, the dems thought he would win so they didn’t even bother to choose a candidate to run against him. Supposedly today was the last day for an independent to register. So unless some democrat has already registered as an independent, I don’t believe there will be a dem winning the final election in November.

I’m hearing on Fox that it’s a conservative district. If so, that sort of crossover “disruption” was a fool’s errand.
