I LOVE that man, and his opinions are very much mine, for the most part. I admire him a great deal, and listen every day.
Hatch fooled many people by taking the TEA Party stance right after the 2010 mid term elections, way before he was running for reelection.
So, you are perfect? If so, I will bow before you. Obviously, you believe you have a superior intellect.
One does not need to profess a ‘superior intellect’ to pay attention.
Hatch has been a known quantity for a lot longer than 2010. He has been notorious throughout his career for the run right govern left ploy and it is damn hard to swallow a national radio figure not being aware of it.
And yes, dedicated Palinista that I am, I know she backed him as well. And when she did I said exactly what would happen and said it was a huge mistake.
I was right, they were wrong. That does not make me superior or make me think myself superior. It makes me observant of Hatch and possessing enough sense to base my ‘position’ on observed data, not political manipulation and hero worship.
Speaking of which, for all the bitching the right does about drooling Obama zombies, there are plenty on the right that go utterly ballistic in their defense of their own personal heroes. Such people can either put their trust in their heroes or in their own capacity for observation and reason.
