Nearly everyone in the United States (North, South, East and West) are now very proud of and grateful for what President Lincoln and Union forces accomplished in freeing this country from the scourge of slavery. The accomplishment is a permanent one. Slavery is not coming back to America and there are very few Americans who believe it should. It's gone forever!
The United States deserves high honors for ending slavery here in the United States.
And then there was one nation that built factories of death; marched millions through them and worked countless other millions to death. But yet that particular nation is welcomed into the world of nations. But America who almost single handily rebuild Europe ???
