I’ll say that there is a case for paying the Mexican police to do this. First, they are cheaper, second they are likely to be more effective (during the cold war, who do you think are better border guards, the east germans or the west germans ?), and third the mexican people will tend to hate their border guards instead of the American Gringos taking away their meal ticket to America.

AGREE. The idea that their kids may end up in MEXICAN PRISONS is probably the most effective way to communicate to the parents of these kids to stop this crap.
